Purpose is the reason to get up each morning and push yourself to achieve your goals. It gives direction and meaning. It turns work into something worth doing, rewards thoughtful decisions, and reminds you why you started. Purpose helps you persevere through challenges, brings people together, and creates consistency.

Purpose matters because it gives life weight and direction. It keeps you centered when things get uncertain and turns effort into something that actually means something. It’s what keeps a person moving forward.

Intention reveals true motives. It fuels purpose, while purpose keeps intentions pure. Intention is how purpose takes form, and it’s the honesty behind every decision.

Intention matters because it defines the character behind every action. It shapes how others experience your work and determines whether your purpose holds meaning. Good intentions create trust, integrity, and alignment between what you do and who you are.

A goal is the desired result of effort, the point where vision becomes measurable. Without goals, effort lacks focus. Goals provide structure, create accountability, and inspire progress.

Goals matter because they turn direction into movement. They make the unseen visible and the distant reachable. Goals bring clarity, momentum, and confidence by proving that progress is real and possible.

Purpose defines the why.

Intention shapes the how.

Goals create the path forward.

Together, they keep direction clear, effort honest, and progress alive.

Purpose doesn’t reveal itself all at once. It unfolds and can evolve throughout an entire lifetime. Ask yourself: What truly matters to me? What would make me want to wake up every day and work toward that thing? What am I passionate about? Look for the things that are fulfilling, the moments that make effort feel worthwhile.

"Money shows the man." That is a saying that ties closely to intention with purpose. Ask yourself: Why am I doing what I’m doing? Are my motives honest to what I believe? If given money or power, what would I do with it? Would it change who I am or how I act? These questions reveal true intention. Intention defines whether actions align with values. Find intentions that stay true to purpose, no matter the circumstances.

How can anyone work toward something if they don’t know what that something is?

Goals give direction to purpose and strength to intention. Set goals that challenge you, goals that stretch your limits but still align with what truly matters. Ask yourself: What can I do to move closer to my purpose? How do I define success? Create an actionable plan made of smaller steps that lead toward the greater goal. Each one is proof of progress and a reminder that meaning is built one effort at a time.
